Getting started
You submit a 3-minute discovery form, pick a tier, and pay. We send you a longer onboarding questionnaire of about 15 to 20 minutes. We research your public record, draft copy, design the site, and send you the first draft.
You give consolidated feedback; we revise. We deploy on your domain, hand over credentials, and support you for 30 to 90 days depending on tier. Total elapsed time is 5 to 7 business days for Professional and Authority, and 5 days for Legacy.
Very little. Your medical council registration number, a high-resolution headshot or plans to get one, and 15 to 20 minutes for the onboarding questionnaire.
You do not need a decided domain name, prepared content, or gathered testimonials in advance. We guide you through all of that inside the onboarding flow. If a document like a CV or existing bio would help, we will ask for it specifically during revisions, not upfront.
No. All our engagements are asynchronous. We use written questionnaires, email, and WhatsApp. Our research pulls most of what we need from your public professional record: hospital bios, medical council registers, published papers, press coverage.
If a detail is ambiguous we ask over WhatsApp. No scheduled calls, no Zoom links, no calendar juggling. This respects your clinical hours and lets senior specialists in different time zones work with us without meetings.
Dr. by Zelix is a small studio operating under Zeta Media Pte Ltd, led by founder Ryan Chua.
We work with a tight group of specialists across editorial, design, development, and compliance review. Every brand direction and final launch checklist is personally reviewed by Ryan. Nobody you deal with is a junior handler.
Within 15 minutes of payment you receive the onboarding questionnaire link by email. Submit it at your own pace.
Within 24 hours of onboarding submission we kick off research. Within 48 hours you receive a brief note from your assigned client experience lead with an expected first-draft date. If you pay on a Friday, research begins Monday and the timing shifts one working day.
Pricing & what's included
All tiers include the full narrative website, bespoke design, editorial copywriting, compliance review, domain, hosting, SSL, WhatsApp integration, and revision rounds.
Professional at US$2,799 is the foundation with one language, 2 revisions, 30 days support. Authority at US$4,799 adds GEO and AEO optimisation, three long-form SEO articles, email signature design, Google Business Profile optimisation, priority 5 to 7 day build, 3 revisions, 60 days support. Legacy at US$7,499 adds multi-language support for up to 3 languages, a social media starter kit, quarterly content refresh for year one, 6 months maintenance, a 5-day build, 4 revisions, 90 days support.
Photography is yours to arrange. We never photograph or direct a shoot on your behalf; we give you a media sheet describing which shots work best, and you book the photographer of your choice.
Domain renewal after year one, ongoing content marketing, paid advertising, and patient booking or appointment systems are also out of scope. Anything that needs a monthly subscription, like social media management or paid SEO tools, is separate. Our maintenance plan is an optional add-on at US$16 per month.
No. The tier fee is the full fee for the build and first year of domain and hosting. There are no setup fees; Singapore GST is added only where legally required.
Domain renewal runs about US$15 to US$25 per year after year one. Maintenance is optional at US$16 per month. If you request work beyond your tier's revision round count, we quote it in advance and you approve before we start. We have never sent a client an invoice they did not expect.
Payment is one-time and upfront. Most clients pay by card. For engagements above US$5,000 we can split into a 60 percent deposit and 40 percent final balance, with the balance due on first-draft delivery.
We accept PayNow and bank transfer for Singapore clients. Fees are quoted in USD unless stated otherwise. We do not offer ongoing monthly subscriptions for the build itself, a deliberate choice to keep our incentives aligned with your launch rather than a recurring revenue model.
Yes, within limits. Before you submit the onboarding form, you get a 48-hour cooling-off window for a full refund minus payment-processor fees.
Once research begins, cash refunds are not available; you can pause for up to 60 days, or transfer 70 percent credit to a different engagement with us (for you or a colleague you refer) within 180 days. Once the first draft is delivered, fees are earned. Full details are in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
Yes. Every tier includes 30 to 90 days of post-launch support depending on tier. After that, our maintenance plan at US$16 per month covers hosting, SSL renewal, daily backups, uptime monitoring, and reasonable content updates such as new qualifications, updated clinic addresses, or new testimonials.
If you prefer to manage updates yourself, we hand over simple instructions. Many doctors prefer us to handle updates so they can focus on clinical work.
Compliance
Every site undergoes a compliance review against your jurisdiction's framework before launch. In Singapore we review against the Singapore Medical Council Ethical Code and Ethical Guidelines (ECEG 2016), Singapore Dental Council guidelines, and the Healthcare Services (Advertisement) Regulations 2021.
We strip patient testimonials and endorsement content from your submitted copy (HCSA Regulation 14 and SMC ECEG G2(7) prohibit these on the doctor's own site), remove superlative claims such as "best" or "leading", verify credentials against the register, and flag anything that reads as comparative advertising or implies guaranteed outcomes. If a line is borderline, we draft two alternative phrasings and let you pick.
Our full review methodology, source links, and change log are on the Compliance page.
Yes. We run compliance reviews for Hong Kong (MCHK Code of Professional Conduct), Australia (AHPRA guidelines and testimonial restrictions), the United Kingdom (GMC standards, ASA/CAP advertising code), Malaysia (MMC/MAB Code), the United States (FTC endorsement guides and state boards), and New Zealand (MCNZ statement).
Each region has distinct rules around testimonials, before-and-after photos, and comparative claims. If you practise in a jurisdiction we have not covered before, we work with your local regulator's framework directly.
Not on your website in Singapore. Under the Healthcare Services (Advertisement) Regulations 2021 (Regulation 14) and the Singapore Medical Council Ethical Code and Ethical Guidelines section G2(7), licensees and medical practitioners must not publish, reproduce, or solicit patient testimonials or endorsements on media they control. Your personal website is such media.
Unsolicited reviews a patient posts independently on Google, Instagram, or other third-party sites are allowed under the regulations. We do not repost them onto your site.
The same prohibition applies in Malaysia (MMC Code of Professional Conduct), Hong Kong (MCHK Code section 5.2.3.3), Australia (AHPRA clinical testimonials ban), and New Zealand (MCNZ Statement on Advertising). In the UK under GMC and CAP rules, testimonials are permitted with caveats (factual, not implying guaranteed outcomes, not comparative).
We never solicit testimonials on your behalf regardless of jurisdiction. Our compliance review applies the rules of your primary practice jurisdiction to every line.
Not in Singapore. Under the Healthcare Services (Advertisement) Regulations 2021 (Regulation 14, clarified in Q14 of MOH's Oct 2023 FAQ), advertisements for licensable healthcare services must not feature before-and-after or only after treatment photographs, pictures, videos, or films — even with disclaimers. Your personal website is advertising media.
The photos may be shown to patients during an in-person consultation, but they cannot appear publicly on the site itself.
The same prohibition applies in Hong Kong (MCHK), Australia (AHPRA tightened the rules further in 2024), New Zealand (MCNZ Statement on Advertising), and Malaysia (MMC). In the UK under GMC and CAP rules, before-and-afters are permitted with strict conditions: real patients, comparable lighting and angle, realistic portrayal of typical outcomes, and written consent. In the US, FTC endorsement rules apply and state boards may tighten further.
If the site you are coming from has before-and-after photos, we will strip them during the compliance review.
We fix it immediately at no cost, provided the flag concerns language or compliance scope that was in our original review. The scenario is rare because our compliance counsel stress-tests every build before launch.
If the flag is about a fact you supplied that turned out to be wrong (a qualification mis-stated, a claim you asked us to keep over our advice), we still help you correct it but may charge for the rework time.
Design & content
Our editorial director, working from your onboarding answers, our public-record research, and any documents you share (CV, past interviews, published papers).
We write in third-person editorial voice by default, which reads as professional and credentialled rather than marketing-heavy. You can request second-person ("I help patients...") instead. Every draft is yours to approve, reject, or redirect. We keep editing until it sounds like the best version of how you would describe yourself.
Professional tier includes 2 rounds. Authority includes 3. Legacy includes 4. A round is a single consolidated set of feedback you send us.
We encourage you to mark up the whole draft at once (strikethroughs, comments, rewrites) rather than email us every five minutes. One well-considered round moves further than three scattered ones. Changes requested after your tier's round count are chargeable at a quoted hourly rate.
Yes, with the Legacy tier. Legacy includes up to 3 languages, typically English plus one or two regional languages. We partner with native-speaker translators who have healthcare experience, not machine translation.
For Singapore doctors the common combinations are English plus Simplified Chinese, or English plus Bahasa Melayu. If you need more than 3 languages we can quote an extension. Professional and Authority tiers are English-only.
You do. Nothing goes live without your written approval. Your final sign-off is usually a short email or WhatsApp reply saying "ready to launch". We record the approved version as the final deliverable.
You are also the person responsible for the accuracy of statements about your credentials and practice; our compliance review checks advertising-code compliance, not factual accuracy of things only you can verify.
We give you a media sheet describing the 4 to 6 shots that matter most: a portrait headshot, a clinic or hospital exterior, a desk or consultation scene, and one or two candid shots. You book your own photographer of choice, on your own timeline, and pay them directly.
Photography is not included in our fee. If you launch with existing photos you have, you can upgrade the shots later and we will swap them in during your maintenance window.
Under the hood
We host on a global edge network with a Singapore-region origin, so the site serves from a point of presence close to your patients.
Historical uptime across our hosting platform is 99.99 percent. Every site has TLS/SSL by default, served over HTTPS only. We also ship a stale-while-revalidate service worker so the site works even on a weak connection.
Yes, always. We register the domain in your name and hand over registrar access at launch. If you ever want to leave us, your domain goes with you.
The site files are also yours; we assign full copyright in the deliverable once you have paid in full. We are engineered to be leaveable; that is deliberate.
Every tier includes SEO foundations: schema.org structured data (Physician, MedicalOrganization), canonical URLs, sitemap.xml, robots.txt, clean URLs, image alt text, OpenGraph and Twitter cards.
Authority and Legacy tiers add GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation): llms.txt published for AI crawlers, Speakable schema, and copywriting tuned so ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Claude can cite you accurately. Today most clinic websites are invisible to those engines; we make sure yours is a cite-able source.
We run a privacy-respecting analytics setup with Google Consent Mode v2. Nothing fires until the visitor grants consent through the banner. No cross-site advertising pixels, no retargeting by default.
You see aggregate traffic patterns (page views, top referrers, conversion events on WhatsApp or phone clicks) without tracking individual visitors. If you prefer to disable analytics entirely, we can skip it.
We ship a full security-header stack (HSTS, CSP, X-Content-Type-Options, Referrer-Policy, Permissions-Policy), TLS enforced, security.txt published for responsible disclosure, no third-party scripts that leak data.
We target A or A+ on securityheaders.com and Mozilla Observatory for every build. If you accept patient data on your site (we usually discourage it and route to WhatsApp or email instead), we bring in additional hardening.
After launch
Two options. Option 1: let us handle it. Email us what you want changed (new qualification, new clinic, new testimonial) and it goes live within 48 hours on the maintenance plan at US$16 per month.
Option 2: we can set you up with a simple CMS if you prefer hands-on editing. Most doctors choose option 1 because it is faster than learning a CMS.
Your site stays yours. The narrative and content are written about you as a practitioner, not about your clinic. When you move, you email us the new clinic name, address, and any updated positions; we update the site and push live.
This is the whole point of owning a personal domain: your brand travels with you.
Your domain is registered in your name at an independent registrar, so it keeps working. The site files are static HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with no proprietary runtime, deployed to a standard hosting platform.
Any front-end developer on earth can pick them up and redeploy elsewhere. We will provide a handover document detailing the current setup. You are not locked in.
Yes, and we make it painless. On request, we export the full site codebase, images, and content as a zip file. You or your next developer can deploy it anywhere.
We do not charge a migration fee. We prefer clients stay because they want to, not because leaving is hard.

WhatsApp us →Still curious?
WhatsApp is fastest: most specialists reach us that way. For anything that needs a longer back-and-forth, email is good.
